We've heard the rumors before but now its official with the launch of her campaign website.

Just my 15%

No, no, no and no.

There is a donate to the campaign button at the top of her web page. Didn't I donate enough already??

I can see it already, "Let's raise taxes so we can make improvements and use the money to buy the North Pole."

Well, they at least attempted to soften up her face, but....

"Thank you for contributing to the Meg Whitman for Governor Campaign. Your payment for $0.01 USD has been completed. Thank you for using PayPal.

You are now being redirected to Meg Whitman for Governor 2010"

..So basically, I just cost her campaign twenty-two cents, paid to PayPal. C'mon people, if we do this a couple hundred thousand times, we'll bankrupt her campaign! ;)

That is pretty funny about the 1 cent contribution to her campaign. Though I'm sure she has Micro-payments configured so it won't quite be 30 cents.

I wonder how many 1 cent donations she will get before they fix that and make the minimum contribution $1

What really angers me is she thinks she's qualified to run for governor and she thinks she deserves the post. She sickens me and I wish she'd go count her billions somewhere else and leave us alone! I suppose she'd have Donahoe run for lieutenant governor???? I might as well move ....Here comes the sickening sappy and lying spiel about how she formed the ebay community and how she helped thousands of people earn an income by selling on ebay....I'm gonna be sick, I'm gonna be sick...I'm gonna be sick!!! :-(

Analogy for the Day.

Meg Whitman is to Ebay
George Bush is to President

BMX and the rest:

You know, the rest of the world REALLY DOESN'T HATE GEORGE BUSH as much as some would like to think.

Research.... that's "research" not, "search", you have to do a little work occasionally in life, world news sources for yourself. More than five minutes.

As for Whitman, go for it. I welcome all the ebay dredge that will surface now. The closer Whitman gets to actually possibly making it, the more intense will be the exposure of what has been happening with eBay over the past year.

I welcome that. I REALLY welcom that.

No way Meg Whitman will get elected. If she is hoping to capitalize on her popularity as eBay's former CEO, she is fooling herself.

Jon, I would never say "no way". Of eBay's 1.3 million sellers worldwide, how many live in CA? And not all of those sellers are upset at eBay or Meg.

She is going to get burned a little by the connection to eBay but her competition for the Republican nom is not very good.

It really depends on who wins the Dem nomination. 4 of the last 6 Governors of CA have been moderate Republicans. She has a chance.
