Lorrie Norrington Appears on Fox Business Channel

In a Fox Business Channel video clip yesterday Lorrie Norrington and Patrick Byrne of Overstock were guests and were discussing Brick and Mortar sales vs. Online sales in this down economy.

I couldn't embed the video so I just took a screen capture and will provide a link to the video.

Just my 15%

The screen shot shows her to be speaking out the side of her mouth .Accident I don't think so. (wink)

The actual capture wasn't intentional but once I saw it I thought it would get a few chuckles.

Hey Randy - are space aliens still chasing Byrne? I don't need to listen to either of these buffoons. I bet they were impressed...with each other. LOL I know their speil backwards and forwards. ;-)

Thanks for the laugh Randy, I found the screenshot amusing (reminds me of my last drivers license photo) but not as funny as when the host asked Lorrie about if slashing prices cuts into her profits.

Clueless to the fact that Ebay doesn't sell any products so they can't cut prices, hence they don't lose profits sellers do.

I also have to correct Lorrie ...eBay's best and smartest entrepreneurial sellers have left ebay. They stay competitive even if eBay doesn't. How many people do you know that have hotmail account or use Netscape? Things change FAST!

Yeah that was very interesting of course eBay is not harmed by discounts. It is amazing the the business press at Fox doesn't understand that.

"Our job is to make sure that we drive buyers to them."

So, on some level, they get the concept.

Maybe by 'them' she means Diamonds (ugh- memories of Amway) and by 'drive' she means Best Match.
