In Other News!

Well, so far the scorecard reads 50% of readers have eMailed me to tell me I'm a loon for my latest posts and 50% like the move towards the negative. I have to say, I surprised myself by the anger in my previous post. I usually like to keep an even keel. So to take a breather from eBay land for a bit I found this little tidbit from Seeking Alpha:

Microsoft's Ballmer Starting Own Yahoo-Buying Rumor?

Paul Kedrosky submits: Steve Ballmer apparently wants people to think his Microsoft (MSFT) is buying Yahoo (YHOO). Here he is from an interview yesterday in New York with Charlie Rose:

Rose: Are you in talks to acquire Yahoo?
Ballmer: If I were, i wouldn’t say anything, and if I weren’t, I wouldn’t say anything.

Just a little non-eBay speculation to clear the pallet. Now back to our regularly schedule eBay bashing.

Please tell me that's hyperbole. It never ceases to amaze me how many people who make their livings on eBay put so much effort into HATING the company. If you don't like it, get out.

Sue, I've really never seen a company that creates such emotion. I get upset when good sellers get caught up in policies that are not well thought out or executed.

eBay has just had a bad run here recently. They do not execute well.
