Off Topic: My Son Graduates from High School

I was searching for something to write about today and nothing really interested me -- pretty much the same old stuff, so I decided to go off-topic for one post and recognize my son's achievement.

After 13 years of schooling, my son has finally graduated from High School. While the graduation ceremony is not until next Tuesday evening, I received the official word from the school yesterday, that indeed he was graduating -- do I sound surprised?

Of course there was never a doubt he would graduate, but the fact that it is official makes his mother and I very proud.

He hasn't quite figured out what he wants to do for a career, but that is what college is for, so now he embarks on a new stage in his life.

He thinks he's so Cooool!

Jameson Taylor Smythe, your mother and I are very proud of you!

Congrats, Randy. My daughter is brilliant and witty and if you don't instantly realize it, she'll set you straight.

Way cool.

Its attributable to genetics or environment and either way you can pat yourself on the back.

Now you only have 4 years of college and 3 - 4 years of grad school left.. so you can realize its all a sham and quit your job to sell items on ebay!!!
