Did you Qualify for the eBay 5% or 15% FVF Discount?

If you qualified for the FVF discount in March, would you do me a favor and check to make sure eBay credited you the discount on your bill. I am hearing from several sellers that there is a glitch and eBay actually added 5% or 15% to many bills instead of deducting.

I'm just trying to figure out if that is the case. Here is a thread on the Seller Central board discussing the issue.

Thanks T for sending me the heads up.

Update: Here is the response from eBay regarding the supposed billing glitch:

Hi Randy,

I wanted to let you know that I spoke with the Global Pricing and Billing team about this and wanted to let you know what I heard back.

They investigated the Seller Central thread you forwarded me in email(and other related threads) and couldn’t find any valid case where eBay actually “increased” the balances because of PowerSeller discount.

There is one user [username edited] who had a View Account Status balance display issue, and they are working to check what the issue is there.

If I hear anymore, I’ll be sure to let you know.

Cheers, RBH

Of course now I'll send Richard my questions for PR instead of sending them to the actual PR department. Thanks RBH!

It shows up on the last line of my invoice.

15% shows up as a debit on my invoices.

Thanks Guys! Maybe it is an isolated problem.

Honestly, Randy, before I received the "official" invoice from eBay, I checked by sorting the dates in my Seller Account and did see a the debit listed twice (though I think it was only calculated once). Maybe this is what the others saw and eBay cleaned it up when the actual invoice was issued?

I think you need to have a look at this as well -
tells of a very suspicious mass dropping of DSRs below discount criteria that occurred on the first day of the 3-day discount calculation period.

Why did it take 3 days to calculate them? Surely eBay has enough server power to do them all in a morning?

Thanks Ed! I think trying to recreate that info right now would be difficult but I will be checking to see if there is the same problem with the next billing period.
